Anna Iwinski Sutter, MS, joined the department as a clinical medical physicist in 2000 relocating from her home state of Ohio. In 1996, Anna received her Master’s Degree in Medical Radiation Physics from Finch University of Health Sciences, The Chicago Medical School, following two years of academic and clinical training at Evanston/Glenbrook Hospitals in Evanston, Illinois. She received her certification in 2001 from the American Board of Radiology in Therapeutic Radiological Physics.
Anna is the associative director of the Emory Medical Physics Residency Program which was CAMPEP accredited in 2012. In addition, Anna stays actively involved in clinical physics procedures and quality assurance procedures within the department. She also assists in the teaching of MD residents and Georgia Tech Medical Physics Students.
In her free time, Anna enjoys spending time with her family and volunteering or coaching for her children’s school or sports teams.
